    At Ariel, we take pride in the pioneering designs and manufacturing processes that have led to our international success. As we continue to grow, Ariel is committed to maintaining the same standards that have been with us from the beginning: quality, reliability and design for ease of manufacture and service. One of the many ways we maintain these standards is through our ISO 9001:2015 certification.

    Since 1995, Ariel has followed ISO’s strategic tools and guidelines to ensure that our products and services are consistent, safe and reliable. From the moment a compressor is ordered, it is a product of a solid quality management system. Our documented processes help to establish repetition, increase efficiency and reduce the potential for variation within the engineering design, material specifications and manufacturing processes. It is through these processes that Ariel is able to offer consistent, quality products to our customers.

    As with any company providing products and services, we are very focused on our customer needs and satisfaction. Ariel’s ISO system has helped us develop the tools needed to be more of a pro-active, preventative organization– maintaining the high quality that turns our first-time buyers into repeat customers

    Highlights of ISO 9001:2015

    The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent international organization of 161 national standards bodies. ISO members come together to share knowledge and build a consensus on voluntary international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.

    4.0 CONTEXT OF THE ORGANIZATION
    The information contained in this section states the purpose of the Quality Management System, the Quality Assurance Manual and the scope of the Quality Management System.

    5.0 LEADERSHIP
    Leadership and commitment covers review of the mission statement, quality policy, planning and the responsibility and authority of management. This section also covers customer-focus and internal communication procedures.

    6.0 PLANNING
    This portion covers actions to address risks and opportunities as well as quality objectives and how the company plans to meet those goals. It also includes the Training Verification Form and procedures to document training in ISO changes and work instructions.

    7.0 SUPPORT
    Support covers the provision of resources, training records and documentation requirements. It also includes the procedures for the control and monitoring of measurement devices used throughout the company.

    8.0 MEASUREMENT, ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT
    This section covers operational planning and processes and design and development processes. It also includes procedures for externally-provided processes such as products that come from suppliers.

    9.0 PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
    The measuring, analysis and monitoring of all processes that affect quality and the continual improvement of the system are covered here. That includes all internal audits and management reviews.

    10.0 IMPROVEMENT
    This section covers the continuous improvement of processes and the corrective actions taken to correct nonconformity.
