Ariel Corporation Opens Training Center in Russia

TC in Russia

As part of the company’s goal to provide the finest aftermarket and post-sale customer support in the industry, Ariel is offering training in Moscow, Russia. This program is in conjunction with the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), Russia’s premier institution specializing in the hydrocarbon energy sector. The Ariel training program at Gubkin brings our compression expertise closer to not only Russia but to all of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, a region with vast hydrocarbon reserves and extensive infrastructure that requires a great deal of compression equipment and spare parts. This training center supports distributor and end-user personnel in these vital regions, along with Gubkin Institute engineering students.

The Moscow Ariel Training Center, which is located within the Gubkin University’s laboratories, features video-equipped classroom space, a three-ton overhead crane, requisite tooling, an Ariel JGJ 2-throw compressor designated for demonstrations and hands-on practicum, as well as an accompanying drive-shaft module used for driver-compressor alignment training. Common areas frequented by institute students, staff, and guests feature prominent Ariel branding, site photography, and a 4-throw compressor model.

Ariel’s Russian-language classes are taught by our Moscow-based engineering personnel and cover the curriculum of the Ariel Basic School, Technical School, and Mechanics School. This Ariel training center and its expert staff also allow for the development of additional courses and specializations in the future.
