The KBE compressor features a forged steel, precision-machined crankshaft with integral counter-weights manufactured specifically by Ariel Corporation.
A frame-driven lube oil pump provides cooled oil through a full-flow oil filter to all the frame's moving components. A divider-block system also supplies metered oil to cylinder bores and rod packings.
The Ariel crankcase is designed for long service life and ease of access during maintenance. It features a heavily-ribbed, high-strength cast iron base with Ariel's signature lightweight, removable aluminum top cover.
Ariel produces versatile cylinders that can be utilized over wide pressure ranges without compromise by using valves that effectively balance reliability and performance. For each compressor frame size, Ariel's lineup of cylinders can fully utilize that frame's horsepower and rod load capabilities. Cylinders can be combined in hundreds of different configurations to deliver the precise volume and pressure of gas required.
