Introducing the Ariel KBE

Ariel KBE Compressor

Ariel is pleased to announce the production release of the KBE compressor.

The KBE frame class is the next step in the transition of the lease fleet and owner/operators of the JGK and JGT to the KB product line. Benefiting from a number of enhanced KBK:T design features, it is capable of meeting the compression needs for the majority of current JGH:E:K:T applications. It has the same rod load and horsepower ratings as the JGT with a 5” stroke, enabling it to fully load the current range of gas engine drivers. The KBE is offered in fixed cylinder configurations on two and four throw frames.

KBE Frames Incorporate:

  • “KB” style angled guide design.
  • Frames designed to accommodate internal torsional vibration damper
  • Integrated frame oil thermostat into the oil filter header simplifies the auxiliary end piping.
  • KBE top cover and guide covers use o-ring seals and reduced number of fasteners
  • ELP and dual chain drive
  • Cylinders utilize CP valves.
  • KBE:K:T crossheads, connecting rods, and bearings are backwards compatible with the JGK:T
  • Piston and piston rod designed for increased strength

Please refer to the table for KBE specifications.
