JG:A & JGR:J Frame Improvements
Ariel has made several refinements to the JG:A and JGR:J frames to improve access to aux end connections for ease of packaging and maintenance.
These changes include:
Redesigned top covers featuring o-ring seals, reducing bolt count
Implementation of an Integral Mounted Frame Oil Thermostat (Filterstat)
Alternate mounting provisions for lubrication components
A side-mounted breather
Relocated junction boxes with new external main bearing temp devices
JGR and JGJ Frames shipping in November 2023 may include these improvements. JG and JGA Frames will transition to the new design in January 2024. Review current order run files for status of this change.
